菅間一徳の水流のうねりのように－駆け抜ける12弦ギターの音色と 蔡怜雄によるイランの打楽器であるトンバク、ダフの彩り。 即興演奏を主に活動する２人による2011年結成のインストゥルメンタル・ユニット"sui sai"。前作から一年を待たずして録音された本作はジャケットでも使われた写真家・宇佐美博之による写真からインスピレーションを受けて作り上げた2ndアルバム。(2014年10月録音)

The instrumental duo sui sai, formed in 2011, features the dynamic interplay of Kazunori Sugama’s flowing 12-string guitar—like the swell of a river current—and Leo Sai’s colorful rhythms on Iranian percussion instruments Tonbak and Daf. Known for their improvisational performances, the duo presents their second album, inspired by the evocative photography of Hiroyuki Usami, which also graces the album cover.
Recorded in October 2014, this release follows their debut by less than a year.
